Replacement of the Belt and Tensioner

Model: Peugeot 406 MK 1 - Years 1995-2005

Obtain the replacement belts, loosen the wheel nuts, and lift the vehicle securely. Unscrew the bolts and remove the wheel, brake, wing, and cover. Remove the protective cover and, using a spanner and the appropriate tool, lock the pulley and loosen the tensioner. Lever the tensioner to relieve tension and remove the belt. Remove the bolts from the two tensioner supports and take them out. Replace the pulleys and tensioners with the new parts, ensuring all components are reassembled correctly. Install the tensioners and new belts following the assembly diagram.
