Replacing the Remote Key Battery on a Peugeot 308

Let's look at replacing the remote key battery of a Peugeot 308. To replace the key battery, separate the plastic parts. Use a screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key: pry until the two cover parts separate, then remove the worn battery with a small screwdriver. Insert a new battery into the key: join the two plastic parts until you hear them click into place. Test the key's functionality at the end of the assembly (use the buttons on the key).
