Operation: Replacement tailgate gas springs on Peugeot 207

Open the boot lid and put a support stand on it. Unhook the snap ring that connects the gas piston to the tailgate with a flat head screwdriver. Using the same screwdriver again, detach the support prop from the bodywork, as shown in the video. Install the new piston simply by pressing between the female seat of the same in the male body support. Snap the snap ring that joins the same prop to the tailgate, exactly as you had blown out the ring of the old piston removed. Nothing easier!
