Replacing the Tailgate Gas Struts on a Peugeot 207

Model: Peugeot 207 MK 1 - Years 2006-2015

Open the boot lid and place a support prop underneath. Use a flathead screwdriver to detach the retaining ring that connects the gas strut to the tailgate. With the same screwdriver, detach the support strut from the bodywork, as shown in the video. Install the new strut by simply pressing it into the female socket on the male support of the bodywork. Snap the retaining ring that connects the strut to the tailgate, just as you did with the old strut you removed. It's that simple!
