Replacing the Remote Key Battery on a Peugeot 308

Is the battery in your Peugeot 308 key flat? How do you replace it? Start by taking your remote and use a small screwdriver to pry between the two covers of the key: lever it until the rear cover separates from the rest of the key. Remove the exhausted battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Press the key case until you hear the click of the rear plastic cover locking into place. Test the remote key's functionality in all its parts.
