Removal of the Glove Compartment

Model: Peugeot 406 MK 1 - Years 1995-2005

To remove the glove compartment, take off the upper plastic trim; to avoid leaving marks, use a plastic tool. Unscrew all the screws located under the trims. Unscrew by pulling upwards the cover of the steering column and unscrew the screws. Open the side panel on the dashboard and unscrew the screws on the sides. Remove the rubber seals from the door and take off the trims on the sides of the pillar. Unscrew the screws on the rear trims to completely remove the closure panel. You can now access the mechanical parts of the heating system. Reassemble by following the reverse operations.
