In today's tutorial, we will see how to reset the lock control unit on the first series Peugeot 407, as well as on most models from the Peugeot-Citroen group, by following these simple steps. What we will do is a general reset performed when some electronic components are not functioning correctly; first, open the bonnet and disconnect the battery by unscrewing the terminal screws. Wait five minutes and reconnect the battery; now, get into the car and turn on the ignition, pressing and holding the vehicle locking button for ten seconds: this way, you will have reset the locks!
