Peugeot Ranch - Video tutorial

Model: Peugeot Ranch MK 1 - Years 1996-2008
Part: Roof Rack Bars
Operation: How to mount roof racks on a Peugeot Ranch

Let's start by opening the special slots on the roof that will house the seats of the bars. Once these slits are open, we cut 4 centimeters of a plastic tape for each slot, and we go to insert them. Then we go to loosen as much as possible the bolts present in the carrier bars, so as not to have problems when we go to screw them. At this point we will have to release the clip present at each end of the bars. By doing this we will have finished the preparation. We then proceed with inserting the bar supports into the slots. Then we will have to screw the screws and close the previously released clips. Once we have completed this step, we will be able to put the side interlocking covers of the bars, and we will have successfully completed the disassembly.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
