Removal of the Windscreen Side Seal

Model: Peugeot 406 MK 1 - Years 1995-2005

The side seal of the windscreen actually runs from the bottom edge of the glass to the inside of the rear door, along the roof. In addition to being wedged along the bodywork, it is secured with torx screws located beneath the lip of the seal along the windscreen pillar. Lift the lip of the seal, unscrew the torx screws, and remove the seal by pulling it out of its housing. If reinstalling, it is recommended to clean it thoroughly and spray silicone spray to protect the rubber from aging.
