Operation: Removing the side windshield gasket

The side windshield seal actually runs from the bottom edge of the glass to the inside of the rear door, running across the roof. In addition to being fitted along the bodywork, it is fixed with torx screws placed under the lip of the gasket itself along the windscreen pillar. Then lift the lip of the gasket, unscrew the torx screws and remove the gasket by pulling it away from its seat. If you have to install it again, it is then suggested to clean it thoroughly and spray silicone spray to protect the rubber from aging.
