Replacement of the Engine Valve Cover Gasket

Model: Peugeot 406 MK 1 - Years 1995-2005
Part: Cylinder head

Start by removing all elements above the engine to facilitate the disassembly of the valve cover. Remove the protective caps from the bolts on the cylinder head and undo the nuts. Open the oil filler cap and remove the plastic covers. Lift the retainers of the spark plug connectors and remove the wiring harness. Also, remove all spark plug connectors and their mounting bracket. Undo all the bolts of the valve cover and gently remove it. Carefully remove the gasket from the cover and install the new one, ensuring it adheres perfectly. Refit the cover, ensuring it fits snugly against the cylinder head. Tighten all the bolts and reconnect the spark plug connectors.
