How to Change Your Car's Engine Oil

Changing your car's engine oil is not a difficult procedure. First, check the owner's manual to determine the type of oil required, so you can purchase the correct one. Before adding new oil, you must remove the old oil. To do this, lift the car with a suitable jack and unscrew the oil cap located under the engine. Place a container under the car to catch the old oil as it drains completely. Once the area is dry with a cloth, proceed to pour in the new oil.
