Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Before lifting the vehicle to access the oil sump, open the bonnet, unscrew the filler cap, and remove the dipstick to facilitate oil drainage; then position a container under the oil sump and unscrew the drain plug; once the oil has drained, refit the plug with a new washer. In front of the sump is the oil filter cartridge: use a metal strap wrench to unscrew it; then apply oil to the seal of the new filter and screw it in without exceeding the torque (hand-tightening is sufficient). Finally, fill the engine with new oil until the correct level is reached.
