If the engine warning light remains on on the instrument panel display, the fault memory of the engine management control unit must be checked to understand the origin of the fault. This operation is carried out by connecting to the OBD (On Board Diagnostics) socket a diagnostic tool capable of communicating, through appropriate protocols, with the engine control unit. The OBD socket is located below the panel immediately under the steering wheel: turn the central screw, remove the panel, intercept the OBD socket and connect the interface of the diagnostic tool; then start the program by selecting the make, model, year and engine of the car; then perform a reading of the error codes and try to clear the fault memory; if the defect recurs, it will be necessary to investigate further.

How to open the seat of a scooter without the key
