Operation: How do you replace the clutch of a Peugeot 406?

To replace the clutch of the Peugeot 406, you need to loosen the bolts that fix the gearbox to its housing: these bolts will be located in the lower part of the engine compartment and can also be accessed by opening the hood. To completely remove the gearbox, it will be necessary to also remove the left front wheel, so that the gearbox can be extracted: in this way, the clutch will be visible and can be disconnected from its pressure plate, so that it can be replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to insert the new one, checking that everything works correctly.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut.
