Where to find the chassis number of the Peugeot 108

In this video, we will see where to find the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the Peugeot 108. This is the legal chassis number, stamped on the actual chassis, which can be found by opening the right door and lifting a flap of upholstery under the seat. You will find the number printed there, starting with WAU, for a total of 17 digits. Remember that the legal chassis number is not the one found on the driver's side windscreen (which is just a courtesy number used to move the vehicle until it has a registration plate) nor the metal plate found on the driver's door frame, which is the vehicle's identity card, placed by the manufacturer at the end of production.
