In this video, it is shown how to reset the automatic transmission, specifically the transmission control software on the Peugeot 308. This procedure is simple and does not require any special tools or software, but it will take 3 minutes to complete. To reset the automatic transmission, you need to turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, make sure all windows are closed, and the radio and air conditioning are turned off. Now, while holding down the brake, shift the transmission to N and leave it in N while holding the brake for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, while still holding the brake pedal, shift the transmission to D and wait for 1 minute. At the end of the minute, shift the transmission to P, turn off the instrument panel, open and close the door, and restart the instrument panel. At this point, the procedure will be complete.
