How to reset the automatic gearbox on the Peugeot 308

In this video, it is shown how to restore the automatic gearbox, specifically the gearbox control software on the Peugeot 308. This procedure is simple and does not require special tools or software, but will take about 3 minutes to complete. To reset the automatic gearbox, start the instrument cluster without starting the engine, ensure all windows are closed, and that the radio and air conditioning are off. Now, while holding the brake, shift the gearbox to N and keep it in N while holding the brake for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, while still keeping your foot on the brake pedal, shift the gearbox to D and wait for 1 minute. At the end of the minute, shift the gearbox to P, switch off the ignition, open and close the door, and restart the ignition. At this point, the procedure will be complete.
