Peugeot 508 - Video tutorial
Model: Peugeot 508
MK 2
- Years 2018-2024 In this video we see how to do a complete check-up on a Peugeot 508: we start with the pollen filter, which is located behind the driver's footwell partition. We remove the screw holding the clamp and then remove the protection under the lower part of the dashboard: with pressure we also remove the lower part under the steering wheel; from here we enter with our hand and remove the cover that covers the filter: we remove it, clean the compartment from dust and residue and replace the filter. We put the cover back on and close all the partitions we removed. Now it's time for the air filter. We open the engine hood and remove the four screws that close the cover; we replace the filter and close the cover (after cleaning the compartment, of course). Now it's time for the fuel filter. Using a small screwdriver, we open the cover by removing the electrical connector; we unscrew the four screws, change the gasket and put the new filter. We reposition it, tighten the screws and put the connector back in place. We open the oil tank cap, change the filter and obviously also the cap gasket. Then we drain the used oil into a basin (which we will then dispose of correctly at an authorized center). Now we can add the new oil. Now we reset the indicators: we press the "000" button on the instrument panel and then start the car. A countdown will start during which we must continue to hold the button. Then we press the "check" button and the interval for the next check-up will appear.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHandbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
