In order to replace the timing belt of the Peugeot 2008, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located in the engine compartment: on the left side, you will find a protective panel of the engine block that needs to be completely removed. After removal, you can proceed by removing the front right wheel and the corresponding wheel arch: once the wheel arch is removed, you can locate the belt tensioner pulley, which needs to be removed from its seat by loosening the central nut. This will reduce the tension of the belt, allowing you to remove it from its seat and replace it with a new one.
