To replace the timing belt on the Peugeot 2008, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine compartment: on the left side, you will find a protective panel over the engine block that must be completely removed. After removal, proceed by removing the front right wheel and the corresponding wheel arch liner: once this is removed, you will locate the tensioner pulley, which must be removed from its position by loosening the central nut. This will reduce the tension on the belt, allowing you to remove it and replace it with a new one.
