How to Change a Porsche Remote Battery

To change the battery in a Porsche remote, you need to get a CR2032 button battery, which you can easily find at any supermarket or electronics store. First, remove the physical key with the Porsche logo facing up. At the bottom of the remote, locate a small black button; this is the emergency key release. Pressing it allows you to remove the blade. Now you will see a small gap. Use a small screwdriver to pry open the remote at that gap, like opening a door; remove the old battery, replace it with the new one, making sure to observe the polarity, put the cover back on, and reinsert the physical key. That's it.
