How to Open the Hood of a Porsche Without a Battery

To open the hood of a Porsche, you need to use the command on the key. In this guide, you will learn how to open the hood when the battery is dead. First, obtain a jump starter or another battery. Connect the cables to your jump starter/battery and attach them to your Porsche; the red (positive) cable should be connected to the designated terminal found in the cabin: to the left of the pedals, there is a cover that, when opened, provides access to the positive terminal (the red support, which must be pulled outwards, to which the clamp is attached). The black cable of the negative terminal should be connected to a metal part of the body (usually a metal part of the door hinge). At this point, you can use the remote to open the hood and recharge or replace the battery.
