Porsche 911 - Video tutorial
Model: Porsche 911
997
- Years 2005-2011 To open the hood of a Porsche it is necessary to act on the control on the key. In this guide we will see how to open the hood when the battery is low. First you need to get a jump starter or other battery. We then attach the cables to our starter / battery and go to connect them to our Porsche; the red cable (positive) must be connected to the special pole that can be found in the passenger compartment: to the left of the pedals there is in fact a door, open which we will have access to the positive pole (the red support, which must be extracted by pulling it to the outside, to which the terminal is attached). The black cable of the negative pole, on the other hand, must be connected to a mechanical part of the body (usually a metal part of the door hinge). You can now use the remote control to open the hood and recharge or replace the battery.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
