Ignition Coil Replacement

Model: Porsche 911 996 - Years 1997-2005

Obtain the correct replacement coil. To access the coil replacement, remove the metal cover by unscrewing the corresponding bolt. Disconnect the ignition coil connector and remove the two retaining bolts with a ratchet wrench, taking them out manually to prevent them from falling. Now you can remove the coil by pulling it upward. Install the new coil, ensuring the high-voltage connectors are positioned correctly. Reinstall the two retaining bolts and reconnect the power connector. If necessary, replace the spark plugs. Perform a functionality test.
