Replacing the Fuel Filter on a Dodge RAM 1500

Model: RAM 1500 DT, MK 5 - Years 2019-2026

You can use the same procedure to replace the fuel filter on a Jeep Wrangler. Raise the rear of the vehicle as you will need to work underneath. Just ahead of the rear wheel, you will find the fuel filter: rotate and then open the small valve that filters out water from the fuel (if nothing comes out, that's a good sign). Unscrew the cover of the filter box and remove it. You may notice that it has an o-ring installed, so remember to install the o-ring on the new filter as well (it should come with the filter). Proceed in reverse for reinstallation.
