How to Reset the Oil Light on a RAM 2500

After each engine oil change, you need to perform a manual reset to permanently clear the oil light or warning message from the dashboard display. Follow the instructions below carefully.

First, press the "Start" button to turn on the ignition. Next, use the directional arrows (up and down) on the side of the steering wheel to navigate the menu and find the "Vehicle info" option.

Then, use the left and right arrows until you see the "Oil Life" option. Finally, press and hold the right arrow until the displayed value changes to "100%".
