In the following guide dedicated to all of you who own a first-generation Renault Megane, we will discover how to correctly replace the small button battery located inside the car key. First of all, you need to purchase a new CR1620 model battery, then make sure you have a crosshead screwdriver and use it to unscrew the screw located at the top of the back cover of the key. At this point, remove the cover and proceed with the replacement of the exhausted battery with the new one. Finally, reassemble the back cover and you are done.
