To replace the lock cylinder of a Renault Scenic III, before proceeding it is necessary to disconnect the battery for the safety of the airbags. You need to remove the internal handle by unscrewing the screws hidden in the armrest and partially opening the panel; disconnect the electrical connectors and then locate the lock cylinder on the outside of the door. Disconnect the control lever from the cylinder and unscrew the fixing nut. Remove the cylinder, being careful with the locking mechanism. You can find the new cylinder, for example, on auto-doc. It with the code 132-037-002 at a price of 7.80 euros + 9.95 euros for shipping. Insert it from the outside, secure it with the nut, and reconnect the control lever. Check the operation with the key.
