How to replace oil and filters on a Renault Master/Vauxhall Opel Movano

Let's see how to change oil and filters on a Renault Master (or a Vauxhall/Opel Movano). Let's start by replacing the air filter, which is located in the engine compartment: it is a large black plastic box fixed with butterfly screws or clips. Unscrew them, lift the cover, remove the old filter, clean the inside well from dust and insert the new filter making sure it is placed in the right direction. Close the cover and tighten the screws. Now let's deal with the oil. Warm up the engine, lift the vehicle at the front and place it on two jack stands, put a large container under the oil pan, open the filler cap and then remove the drain plug to let the oil drain, which we will then dispose of properly (together with the old filter) at an authorized center. While the oil is draining, unscrew the old filter, clean the filter seat, lubricate the new gasket with some clean oil and screw the new filter by hand. Put a new cap and a new gasket on the oil pan and fill it with a funnel up to 90% of the tank capacity, with the oil recommended by the manufacturer. Start the engine to allow the filter to fill up, then check the level and add a little oil at a time until reaching the desired level (just below the "max" mark). Never exceed this mark, it is very dangerous. Close the cap and our work is done.
