Checking Fluid Levels on a Renault Trafic III 1.6 dCi

In this video, you will see how to check the fluid levels on a Renault Trafic III 1.6 dCi. As described in the video, you will need: engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, and screenwash. Start by checking the oil level by pulling out the dipstick. Clean it and then reinsert it: the level should be below the "max" line; if it is lower, add oil according to the manufacturer's specifications, ensuring it never exceeds the maximum level. Also, check the coolant level, which can be seen from the semi-transparent reservoir. It should be between "min" and "max". If it is low, add more fluid of the same colour as that in the reservoir. Brake fluid theoretically does not get consumed; if the level has dropped, it means the pads are worn. Add some fluid but plan a visit to the mechanic. Finally, top up the fluid in the screenwash reservoir. Again, add its specific fluid, never tap water, which could damage the pipes and nozzles, as well as dirty the glass with limescale.
