Replace the alternator on the Clio? Here’s how to remove the part from inside the engine bay. Open the engine bonnet and secure it, locate the battery and disconnect the terminals. Lift the Clio with a jack, remove the front right wheel, the wheel arch liner, and the alternator belt cover. Unscrew the bolts with a socket wrench, unscrew all the securing bolts of the alternator. Once the removal is complete, take off the belt and the alternator. Take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, screw in the securing bolts, belt, and various covers.
