Oil and Filter Replacement on a Megane 3

Model: Renault Megane Megane III, Megane 3 - Years 2008-2015
Part: Engine oil

Let's replace the engine oil and filter on a Renault Megane. Lift the car using a column lift or a jack and unscrew the bolt located under the oil sump with a suitable socket spanner, allowing the oil to drain into a container for future disposal. After all the oil has drained, screw the bolt back into the oil sump. Open the bonnet and unscrew the dedicated oil filter. Refill the reservoir with new oil. Test the vehicle's operation once the refill is complete.

How to Open the Bonnet of a Renault Megane if the Lever is Broken?

If the lever that unlocks the bonnet of the Renault Megane is broken or not functioning, there is an emergency procedure to unlock the mechanism: remove the right front grille located at the top of the bumper. Once the grille is removed, you can locate the actuator mechanism: by pulling the spring in this position, you can unlock the actuator, allowing you to lift the bonnet and access the components located inside the engine compartment. You can then close the bonnet simply by lowering it.
