How to Replace Engine Oil and Filter on Renault Clio mk3

This guide shows how to replace the engine oil and filter on the Renault Clio mk3. The first step is to open the oil filler cap from the engine bay. Lift the vehicle to access the drain plug located under the oil sump. Using a square drain plug tool size 8, unscrew the plug and let the fluid drain into a suitable disposal container. From the engine bay, remove the air intake hose to expose the oil filter. Use a filter cup wrench to unscrew the filter; clean the housing of any residual oil and lubricate the seal of the new filter. Install the new filter and refit the air intake hose. From under the vehicle, clean any oil residue from the drain hole and refit the previously cleaned plug. Fill the reservoir with new oil to the level recommended by the manufacturer. Run the engine for a few minutes to circulate the oil and check the fluid level again. At this point, the operation is complete.
