How to Change the Key Battery of the Renault Clio

To replace the remote key battery of the Renault Clio, follow these steps: the key consists of two plastic shells. To open the key body, apply pressure with your fingers in the opposite direction to the part of the key that goes into the lock, allowing one shell to slide over the other. Once unlocked, remove the plastic cover; inside is the battery (model 1220). Pry upwards to extract the battery and take the new one. Place the new battery in the housing, ensuring the orientation is correct (positive terminal facing up). Finally, reposition the two covers on top of each other and slide them in the opposite direction to reattach.
