Whenever you change the engine oil and the corresponding filter on your vehicle, as specified in the owner's manual, you need to reset the service light on the instrument cluster. To do this, you can use a diagnostic tool that connects to the OBD2 port of the vehicle. First, select the model type of the vehicle and the engine type. Then, enter the mileage driven by the vehicle and confirm with OK. This will automatically update the next service interval on the instrument cluster.
