Replacing the Suspension Wishbone

Model: Renault Megane Megane 1 - Years 1995-2003

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheel. Start by removing the ball joint that connects the anti-roll bar to the suspension wishbone, then the one from the wishbone to the hub support. Remove the bolts securing the shock absorber to the hub support and then those of the suspension wishbone to the engine cradle. Use a lever to assist in extracting the bolts and then the suspension wishbone. Fit the new wishbone and reverse the process to secure it with the respective bolts.
