Complete Removal of the Front Dashboard

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

To remove the dashboard, open the glove compartment and remove the upper plastic trim. To avoid marks, use a plastic tool to also remove the trim on the steering wheel side. Unscrew all the screws located under the trims. Unscrew by pulling upwards the cover of the steering lock and unscrew the screws under the instrument panel. Unscrew the screws on the sides of the dashboard beneath the door seals and remove the corresponding plastic clips. Unscrew the screws on the air vents and the screw located at the centre of the dashboard near the windscreen. Remove the rubber seals from the doors and detach the trims on the sides of the pillars. To remove the trims, insert a screwdriver underneath and lever against the plastic retaining clips. Lower the steering wheel as much as possible and pull out the dashboard.
