- Years 1998-2005 To remove the dashboard, open the glovebox and remove the upper plastic trim, to avoid leaving marks, use a plastic tool to remove the steering wheel side trim as well. Unscrew all the screws located under the borders. Unscrew the steering wheel block cover by pulling upwards and unscrew the screws located under the instrumentation. Unscrew the screws located on the sides of the dashboard under the door seals and remove the relative plastic plugs. Unscrew the screws located on the air vents and the screw located in the center of the dashboard near the windscreen. Remove the rubber door seals and remove the moldings on the sides of the pillars. To disassemble the moldings it is necessary to insert a screwdriver under them and to pry the plastic retaining hooks. Lower the steering wheel as far as possible and remove the dashboard.
