Operation: Disassembly of the steering wheel airbag of the Renault Megane.

Let's see how to proceed to remove the steering wheel airbag unit of the Renault Megane. Sit in the driver's seat and behind the central part of the steering wheel hub, at the top, we will find a hole where we will insert a pin. A torx L-shaped key of the right size will also work. Pushing it towards us, the key will release the locking lever of the airbag unit, allowing it to separate from the steering column. Using a flat-blade screwdriver, disconnect the two electrical connectors to completely remove the unit. If we also need to remove the steering wheel, it will be sufficient to release other electrical connectors and use a sturdy torx key to unscrew the central bolt while holding the steering wheel firmly.
