Removing the Steering Wheel Airbag from the Renault Megane

Let's see how to proceed with removing the airbag module from the steering wheel of the Renault Megane. Sit in the driver's seat; behind the central part of the steering wheel hub, at the top, you will find a hole where you will insert a pin; a suitable Torx L-key can also work. Pushing it towards you will release the locking lever of the airbag module, allowing it to separate from the steering column. Use a flat-head screwdriver to disconnect the two electrical connectors to completely remove the module. If you need to remove the steering wheel as well, simply disconnect other electrical connectors and, using a robust Torx key, unscrew the central bolt while holding the steering wheel hub steady.
