Resetting a Stuttering Throttle Body

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014

Open the front bonnet, ensure it is securely supported, and locate the throttle body: it is situated at the rear, just behind the engine oil filler cap. Remove the two retaining pins from the plastic cover protecting the throttle linkage and take it off. Next, using a medium-sized flat screwdriver, disengage the spring located between the throttle cam and the plastic gear by rotating the gear backwards. Finally, reapply the protective plastic cover.
