Removing the Door Panel on Saab 9-3

Replace the panel covering the car door if damaged. Here’s how to remove it. Disconnect the power battery connectors. Using a screwdriver, undo the screws located in the space of the upper door opening lever (remove the cap). Remove the trim plastic from the handle, undo the screws in the handle, and detach the securing clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and detach it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Fit the new panel onto the door and screw in the securing screws.
