Saab 9 3 - Video tutorial

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Interior blower
Operation: Interior fan control unit replacement

If the interior fan does not work regularly or there is no variation in the air flow as the fan speed varies, it is likely that the fault is in the fan control unit. This control unit is located below the air conveyor, behind the central central console: to access the conveyor, the glovebox on the passenger side must be removed. Once the flap has been opened, it is easy to intercept the fixing screws: remove the screws, unhook the side cap of the dashboard and unhook the glove box. Subsequently, in order to access the fixing screws of the control unit in question, it is also necessary to remove the plastic casing below: at this point it is possible to replace the control unit and check the correct operation of the fan before reassembling everything.
