How to open the front engine hood of a Seat Toledo?

To open the hood of a Seat Toledo, start by entering the vehicle and locating the release lever located under the dashboard, generally near the left side, next to the driver's compartment. By pulling this lever, you will hear a click indicating that the hood has been partially unlocked. At this point, go to the front of the vehicle and look for the safety latch located in the center of the hood edge. Lift the hood slightly and push or pull the latch to the left or right, depending on the model, to fully unlock it. Now you can lift the hood and secure it in place with the support rod, usually housed inside the engine compartment.
