How to Replace the Front Shock Absorber and Engine Mount on a Skoda Superb?

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to replace the front shock absorbers and engine mount on a 2019 Skoda Superb. Open the front bonnet and remove the seals from the right and left sides of the bonnet to access the wiper arm. Using a spanner, remove the right and left wiper arms. Spray the upper nuts with WD-40 to ease removal. Remove the front left and right wheels of the vehicle and then lift it on a jack or axle stands. Disconnect the ABS sensor and remove the front pads by using a 13 mm spanner to unscrew the support. Using a 17 mm spanner, unscrew the locking bolts. Pull the brake caliper down so that the piston retracts. Remove the nut on the stabiliser bar link using a power wrench. Once the link is removed, loosen the joint. Then remove the shock absorber. Using a special tool and a 21 mm spanner, remove the strut from the shock absorber. After replacing the strut and inserting the shock absorber, repeat the previous steps in reverse to complete the assembly.
