In this video guide today, we will go through the step-by-step procedure to reset the service light, which indicates the remaining life of the engine oil, on a second-generation Skoda Octavia, produced from 2004 to 2012. The operation is very simple.

First, press and hold the button located on the speedometer, then turn on the instrument cluster without starting the engine.

Once this is done, as shown in the video, release the button and turn it clockwise to complete the service reset.
