How to Reset the Service Light on a Škoda Octavia?

To reset the Service light on a Škoda Octavia, turn on the instrument cluster so you can navigate through the menu using the controls on the right side of the steering wheel: scroll down to find the "Service" option, which should be selected with the appropriate button. Once selected, you will access another screen where you need to select the "Reset" option: after this has been selected, confirm the subsequent message and check that the light has turned off completely.
