How to change the battery of a Subaru Forester key

In order to replace the battery of the remote key of a Subaru Forester car, you first need to make sure you have the necessary materials, namely the correct battery model. In this case, as shown in the video, you will need a flat CR 1620 battery and a screwdriver with a flat tip. Take the key remote and insert the screwdriver tip into the small slot at the bottom end of the key, lever also on the edge to open it and remove the first cover. Then, perform the same procedure on the sides of the cover that covers the remote core and once opened, you will have access to the battery compartment. Remove the battery and proceed with the replacement.
