The module remembers the last state set by the user via the car's original button: if you disable it, it remains off on the next start; if you reactivate it, it stays on. It does not bypass the system but tricks it, complying with the car's protocols. It is therefore presented as safe for the warranty. It connects to the start & stop control unit, whose position varies from vehicle to vehicle. This is not a physical deactivation: the system is simply "asleep".

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
