The video shows how to permanently disable the start & stop function using a plug & play module called "AutoStopEliminator". It is not a software modification or a cable removal, but an adapter that connects between the original connector and the start & stop control unit.

The module remembers the last state set by the user via the car's original button: if you disable it, it remains off on the next start; if you reactivate it, it stays on. It does not bypass the system but tricks it, complying with the car's protocols.

It is therefore presented as safe for the warranty.

It connects to the start & stop control unit, whose position varies from vehicle to vehicle. This is not a physical deactivation: the system is simply "asleep".
