To replace the brake pads on a Subaru Crosstrek, follow the same procedure for both the front and rear wheels: you will need to lift the car with a jack so that the wheels do not touch the ground. By loosening the mounting bolts, you can completely remove the wheels and access the brake caliper at the back: then, unscrew the bolts that secure the caliper to the rotor, detach it completely, and slide out the pads inside. This way, you can install the new pads, reattach the caliper, and put the corresponding wheel back on.
