Replacing the Fuel Filter on a Suzuki Vitara

Lift the bonnet and prop it up with the support rod. First, remove the fuel pump fuse located in the black plastic box to your right, near the engine compartment. Open the box and use the clip to extract the fuse (refer to the owner's manual to identify it). Try to start the engine several times: this will not happen, but it will help relieve pressure in the system. Disconnect the battery, then detach the connector and fuel lines from the fuel filter. Remove the filter housing and open it.
