Replacing the Fuel Pump on Grand Vitara

Let’s see how to remove the fuel pump on the Suzuki Vitara. Disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seat cushions or lift the car to remove the tank. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present) and remove it from above the tank, covering the perimeter with absorbent paper to catch any fluid leaks. Unscrew the clamp of the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation hoses. Extract the floating fuel pump from its housing along with any attached parts. After replacing the fuel pump, reassemble the rear seats or the tank.
