Next, lift the vehicle and remove the cover of the car base. Remove the nut that secures the oil pan plug and wait for the oil to finish draining. Close the cap and remove the nut to open and remove the oil filter, insert the new filter and lower the vehicle back to the ground. Move to the tank and perform the top-up.
