Replacing the battery of a Tata Indica key fob is a fairly simple task. Before you start, ensure you have the necessary tools: a small flathead screwdriver and a new battery. Take the small screwdriver and insert the tip into the seam of the casing, then along the edge, twist the screwdriver multiple times at different points along the edge to open it. Repeat the process on the opposite side of the fob's edge. At this point, you will have opened the fob casing and can proceed to remove the old battery and replace it. The required model is a flat CR 2016 battery rated at 3V.
