How to remove the fender of the Toyota RAV-4 MK4

In this video, we can see the steps to remove the fender of the Toyota RAV-4 MK4: pull the handbrake and slightly lift the vehicle. Turn the wheel to have as much space as possible, then remove the clips and screws from the protection around the wheel; being a component made of plastic material, it consists mostly of clips, which must be removed carefully to avoid breaking them; obviously there will also be screws at the top. On the outside there is also the molding, which must be removed, and to do this a plastic spatula will be needed, to avoid damaging the bodywork; behind the arched molding we will find screws that must be removed; open the door and we see that there are also clips to be removed, pressing them towards the inside of the wheel arch. Now that we can open the cover more, we see that a screw holds it to the bodywork; open the door again and see a large bolt holding the cover; we must remove it; we must also remove the plastic triangle near the side mirror, because behind it there is another screw to be removed. Now the fender on this side is free: finish removing the rest of the molding and all the other clips on the other side, and the screws inside the bumper, including a red screw at the front of the bumper itself. Now we must release the top part, lifting the hood and removing the screws, even those under the plastic cover. Finally, the operation has been completed.
