To charge the battery of a Toyota Yaris Cross, open the bonnet and locate the battery in the engine bay. Before starting, ensure the vehicle is completely off. Connect the charger to the terminals: first the red cable to the positive (+) terminal and then the black cable to the negative (-) terminal or to a ground point on the chassis. Set the charger to 12V mode with an amperage suitable for the battery's capacity. Start the charging process and wait for the cycle to complete as indicated by the device. Once finished, turn off the charger and disconnect the black terminal first and then the red.
